you HAVE to get the second shot, if you're just meter burning the command grab and not getting the extra shot, then yes, you are doing it wrong.

There will always be secrets in MK games that are meant to be found on your own. Finding the toasty boosts at the end of mk9 gave the game a little mystery. It wouldn't be fun if we just told you guys every secret brutality now would it .

As I recall though, Toasty Boosts were openly shared.

I recall someone here on TYM making a thread and working to discover them all and sharing as they were confirmed.

It's kind of like knowing a fatality no one else knew in the arcade days. I wasn't around then, but I can definitely see the appeal of something like that. If someone just told everyone the input there would be no fun in that, everyone would know how to do it. But if people find it on their own it will be so much more satisfying

Same thing is happening to me. I'm meter burning the cg in round 2 and doing the grab brutal, but the crow just flies away with this smug fucking look on its face.

Even tried winning each round with less than 50% health, but nothing. Is there an input needed or what?

Using gunslinger, extra shot in round 2, everything and it's still not working. I'm even trying variables like hitting the opponent with money shot once and getting the command grab off the same tick throw Sonicfox uses.

Is it working for you consistently or did you just get it to work once? I would love to see a video of what you're doing.

When you say second shot you mean after the command grab you ex for that extra shot right? Or is there some sort of shot after that you can do? Because the first didn't work.

If there are prerequisites for this brutal, here's how the match goes

money shot blocked 1
money shot 2
caltrops 2
SOS2 4
slide 2
SOS3 1
cg 1
cg meter burn 1

no round loss
wins round 1 with ~35%
wins round 2 with ~45%
end with grab brutality and...

If we recreate the match, we can pretty much ensure that the brutal will come out when we find the right inputs. Once someone makes it happen, we can test and see exactly what the prerequisites are.

Definitely has to be some special input. Recreated the match but it didn't really work out.

Ok, in the second round, do the command grab (sand trap) and enhance it so you get the extra shot.
Do the brutal.

Yeah, definitely has to be an input. Been using Erron for quite awhile now and have never gotten that.

Tried a bunch of different things to mirror the match sonicfox did this in, but it's annoying to set it up over and over and try different input combinations. I'll try again another day. My only hope is that it isn't some weird shit that goes beyond what you can do in a regular local match. I don't know if there are any brutals that only work online, KOTH, certain time of day or something like that but it wouldn't be beyond NRS for sure.
