I wanna go, but it's hard to spend all this money on just a UMK3 tournament. I'm not playing everyday like when I went to NEC, still rusty and don't care about provin myself anymore. If I can get a really good price on flight + hotel I will consider it.

Honestly I'm more interested in N64 MKT and playing it offline vs good players. Game is super fun!

I wonder if @YOMI REO or even if @YOMI SLAYER would be interested in this? Probably too focused on MKX.

UMK3 transitions well into MKT, even on N64. I'll have it there, on the console, not emulated. I do like how the lack of frames and other things changes the dynamics of the game. Enough to be a different kind of game.
Oh and that Philgasm when REO got @Shock in that Sheeva toe tap infinite. LOL

Yeah he just got top 8 at NEC, he's good at MKX. I'm sure they won't mind him playing UMK3, it's more of does HE want to play it, idk.

It's a shame some of us new bloods that (re)discovered mk with mkak don't get some of the experiences the OG's got. Maybe this tournament will be an acid test for this NEW pool of talent.

That's what happens when the game is average at it's absolute best online, and there's only a few people worth playing seriously. And when you can't even play those players seriously because of the connection, you lose interest. If the comp was like it was in the 06 UMK3 era, where there were like 30+ lobbies every day and everyone was playing, I would definitely be one of them.
