That's ok, just means Ermac players should get even more respect now ;) and he still owns Kano since he can outzone him.

But he really should have gotten either armor on enhanced TK push or at the very least ONE damn overhead...
then ill just chip your ass and pressure till you die :)

??????????? Huh? That makes no sense, how does adding armor to an enhanced move make Ermac Shao Kahn? Uhh no....Kahn has armor on various moves, does ridiculous damage and is not playable for that reason. Ermac has armor on his X-ray(like everyone else) WOAHH!!! Apples and peanuts guy. LOL@ Ermac being compared to Shao Kahn...

Anywho, back to reality...

Glad they fixed the Reptile pushback and everything else here is fine. I'll manage.

• You can now block after a dash forward is completed if it was cancelled into from a special move. You canceling out of a dash into another dash was normalized for most of the characters. Dash Block canceling remains the same.


Baraka
• Baraka's Enhanced Blade Charge (Blade Rush) attack goes farther now.

Cyrax
• Cyrax's Buzzsaw is an overhead block and safer when blocked

Jax
• The armor on Jax's Enhanced Dash Punch (Dash Fist) and X-Ray (Briggs Bash) now starts instantly.
• Added armor to the startup of Jax's Enhanced Elbow (Elite Smash).
• Jax's projectiles (Energy Wave) recover a tiny bit faster.
• Jax’s towards 3 attack (Big Leg) is now an overhead.

Kabal
• Removed a couple unavoidable block traps with Kabal. (with F2 and 4)

Kano
• Kano’s Knife Toss recovers slightly faster.

Kung Lao
• Removed the pushback on Kunglao's spin when blocked.
• Kung Lao's overhead hat attack is slightly safer when blocked.


Noob
• Noob’s Shadow Charge hits overhead.

Raiden
• Raiden can’t be hit during his Enhanced Teleport (Sparkport).

Reptile
• Reptile's Enhanced Slide (Slime Trail) now has armor on it.

Sonya
• Sonya's 1,1,4 (Fierce Assault) no longer true combos into 2in1’d special moves from it.
• Sonya's 3,1,4 (Beat Up) no longer true combos into 2in1’d special moves from it.

Sub Zero
• Sub Zero's Enhanced Slide (Power Slide) now has armor.
• The opponent is frozen for 10 additional frames to allow him to at least get a slide in for some trade cases were he could get nothing before.

Of course character specific threads, in regards to the patch, can be made updated.

Dont be stingy almost everyone else has armor on there EX moves cept umm sindel and someone else I can't recall but its time for ermac to get a Buff since hes been getting slight nerfs in every patch so far

and why are sindel's links still gone? you know, the ones they "temporarily removed" a long time ago.

At any rate, there's still loads of time left and they can always give Ermac an overhead sometime with a tweak I'm sure. But I do think Ermaculate brings up a solid point, most characters have armor one at least ONE move. Is it asking too much to give armor to Ermac on one move at least? You'll also notice, there's hardly any Ermac players anymore because of his nerfs lol. No more Eazymac.

Should be interesting to see how Sub is used now with his updates.

Like i said....also most characters cant booty rape you across the screen so once again NO armor

overhead makes sense, done with this madness

Kan any one konfirm kano kombos after knives midscreen?

Ermac is a zoning/turtle character, that's how he's supposed to be played...plus he has no overheads and far, far from a strong rush down game. So don't see why you're complaning, especially when Kano has lag to help him with his cannonballs lol. You can just jump over his TK pushes now, which they fixed a while ago.


I'll have more fun now beating people with Ermac and Smoke since they got nothing :)

Yay, no more 17% throw from Skarlet lol

Yep, except it is really damn slow and knockdown ... 20+ frames I believe *goes to check Ermac Frame Data). I think these Ermac players are talking about a overhead starter into TKS, like B1
 
Not everything needs to lead into a combo for it to be useful...Most overheads have long start up as that is natural. Ermac's overhead is safe on block, so it isn't like you are risking much for using it.

i thought they meant when smoke players run away and use (ex) parry so you can't throw a fireball or even chase them.

Patch 5 Notes PS3 & Xbox360 released 09/23/2011
· You should no longer see online desyncs on Xbox that are related to alternate costumes or classic costume DLC packs.
· With the exception of Human Cyrax and Human Sektor, everyone’s alternate costumes should behave the same as their primary costumes and have the exact same move properties.
· Adjusted wakeup attacks’ window of execution and vulnerability.
· Some low attacks, such as a handful of characters sweeps, were incorrectly able to be parried.
· Fixed some cases where a player could get stuck in his reaction while landing.
· Made some minor collision hitbox adjustments.
· Made several gameplay balance adjustments.
· General bug fixes.
