So why do people think she has skarlets slide? Wasn't that just her run animation?

I'm pretty sure it's a move. If you pause the video the frame before it changes to the next scene you'll see she glows black and white as if she was MB'ing. She could also just be MB'ing a throw but, although I could be wrong, it doesn't look like a throw to me.

I've always found Kitana boring story-wise and appearance-wise in all prior MK games, but much MKX is does it's thing again and making everyone 10x more badass and hype.


Also, I'm one of those people who suspect she might be Mileena in disguise...

I think one of her variations will include increased mobility options both on Air and Ground. That run animation with the blue streak she left on the ground got me wondering. Her move sets look the same from MK9. I hope there's more new to her (obviously that fatality was new and is the best to date).

In fact let me talk on that fatality just a bit; That sh*t was awesome! I mean you can see the true ninja assassin in her with that fatality. Great job NRS.

But what will happen after they release Mileena. I don't think she will be a character reveal, but c'mon.... she's in the game alright. I just hope Jade is in the game. I've grown so fond of Jade that I have to go to a Kitana forum to feel some sort of comfort.

I want her to keep her Standing 2, that move is just too good to remove, as we saw in the video, she has some sort of F21, IAFS, Lift, a run throw. I cant wait to see her 3 modes.

Watching @Konqrr play MKA the other day reminded me that she actually did have a teleport at one point and that her fans weren't really used as projectiles. Rushdown Kitana hype?

She might have some sort of Ninjutsu variation where she uses them as blades and not projectiles. I'd be interested in seeing how this works. It would probably be for a rush down variation.

Yah, it sucked the teleport was only part of the Xray in MK9

I wonder if her xray will be a fan projectile again.

That run Throw is Skarlet's Dash.

She can probably perform attacks and that grab after it. Unsure if it's a grab specific to the dash, or if she simply dashed and just did a regular throw

If Skarlet doesn't make it in it would be sick to see her play style incorporated into a Kitana variation. Hell - just do a Mileena variation as well

I hope she does not have an iAF like in mk9, otherwise we might get some strange matchups shit like Zod vs Lex. i hope this kind of stuff wont happen in mkx
