HELP!!! PS4 or XBone

Hi All
Sorry to ask a question which has probably been asked 3000 times but I really need some help.
I just watched the Kitana trailer and am officially cannot wait to get MKX on release. The only issue is that I do not have a PS4/XBone. I can really only afford one, so I need to make a decision.

Which do you guys recommend???

I have looked at some of the tech sites and they have not been particularly helpful.

Honestly, there truly is not a substantial difference as far as product goes. Take a look at the exclusive games for each platform and choose that way.

That said: you do realize that MKX is also coming out on 360 and PS3, right?

most people are saying the ps4 is the better machine , on top of that all that privacy bullshit really made me wanna avoid X1 and the stock controller looks better for ps4 imo -i currently own xbox 360 btw

I went ps4 cause the controller is easy to adapt to and the dpad is geat for fighting games. Also its memory is way more easier to handle then thw xbox one.

Unless you really like KI, ps4 is the way to go. It's got Guilty Gear, its got Street Fighter, and as of right now at least its the only one that can run 1080p games.

That said: you do realize that MKX is also coming out on 360 and PS3, right?

That really shouldn't even be considered figuring NRS is leaving the port (which almost always blow) to ANOTHER COMPANY.

That and if you plan on playing MKX offline you should invest in a current gen consol.

All that said the PS4 is cheaper, preforms just as well, if not slightly better than the XB1, and the amount of games currently is really a moot point figuring all the up and coming releases.

PS4, most multiplatform games have run better on PS4 compared to XBO so I think it'll be tournament standard for current gen as 360 was for previous gen because it ran most multiplatform games better.

Yeah PS4 all the way. The only downside I can see for the PS4 is that MKX will probably be region locked again, that's why I'm getting it on both PS4 and X1.

next gen consoles are very weak and all of the next gen fighting games will be released on PC too.
spent a few bucks more for a decent gaming PC and you are way better off then with a PS4 or Xbone.

Honestly get the system that has the exclusives that appeal most to you. I bought an xBone right away and have not regretted my decision one bit. I'll probably eventually get a PS4 as well bc I'm a gamer not a fanboy, but for now I'm awaiting a hopefully awesome online MKX experience with the xBone.

And I'm getting that PDP MKX fightpad guaranteed no matter what system I play on so the controller thing is moot for me at least.

It looks like the future of Fighting Games are more promising on the PS4.
Another reason I would recommend it is because PS+ usually has better free monthly games.

PS4 is the way to go, 3rd party games look better on the PS4, pad is better (I will use the ps3 pad with the Titan ONE adapter), exclusives this year are better. When PS4 had no good exclusives at the release, they still sold way more than the X1, we should all agree on PS4 so we can all play online

You build yourself a PC which would preform bounds better with the same budget along with doing all the things a PC can do. No added subscription fee. No frame dips at every turn. No bullshit.

But why waste that much money on one game? Just get it on a 360/PS3.

Mk9 ran better on Xbox, but honestly anything said before the release of mkx is pure speculation as far as what console it will be best played on. Whatever evo chooses is a good hint at what other tourneys will use tho
I personally will own it on Xbox one because I play killer instinct as well so I already have one, and ps4 doesn't offer any exclusives that I really like
