Any Injustice influence you'd like to see in MK X?

Besides b2b :p?

Interactables seem pretty much confirmed, judging from the teaser (tree branch that sub used and swang on) and I'm glad for that, they definitely added more depth and were overall, really well implemented and fun to use, they don't have to hold back on stuff, just because they've done it before... This time they should definitely ditch that power / gadget bs and have each character interact in their own unique (and this time useful) way. The gadget interactions could be really s***y with some characters.
Even if we don't get stage transitions, I'm hoping we can at least get wall bounces again, they make the combos really stylish and add impact and give that extra cinematic feel to the game, this time, I hope we have different moves that wall-bounce, instead of it always being a chargeable b3, like ex versions of some specials will bounce and what not...

And please, no more s***ty minigames again, give us a revamped challenge tower with actual fights. Difficult ones!

I don't even have to talk about single player versus... Speaking of that, expert difficulty in MK9 was perfect, Injustice button read you too obviously and it wasn't challenging... you just had to find exploits

This is an interesting topic, because we know some elements will likely be there.

Personally I like the ability to D2 cancel. It added more layers to the game and made D2 more than a get the hell away attack. Interactibles I really don't want them this time around, but if they do it, I would hope its on a smaller scale.

I agree too NO MORE DAMN MINIGAMES!!! Ok challenge tower was good and enteraining and the minigames were fine, because they helped break monotony, but IGAU I swear is nothing but minigames. Star labs should have done what MK9's tower did and teach the game and help you level up. Sorry but being able to dodge rocks and determine how much force you need to fire a grenade given the amount wind and wind direction isn't teaching me or anyone shit...

Decent far reaching pokes on some characters. (nothing broken though, if it's a far poke it shouldn't recover fast or at least be punishable to an extent)

Vastly improved frame data.

Hit trades.

Grappler archtypes.

All these are pretty much a sure thing though.

I would like to see a better reversal mechanic that allows you to reverse a combo back onto your opponent.

Some of these are moreso general FG influences, tbh. But that aside...yes, give them to us.

Why do people think Injustice was the first NRS game to have interactables???

Did none of you play deception?
Its the 1st game that really emphasized on it. Deception and Armageddon had them but they didn't play as vital a role as the do in IGAU!

How the characters animate during combos and jumps. Making seems less laggy movement and awkward jumps. If interactables are brought don't make categories for characters and have clear advantages for one. Better normal animations and less awkward movement overall.

MKD interactables are nowhere near the same as Injustice interactables. In MKD, interactables were a random weapon to pick up and death traps that instantly ended rounds.

What'd also be nice is an improved how-to-play/teaching mode!

It could have layers. The first few to teach basics of fighting games, and the later levels to teach about frame data and more advanced parts of fighting games! They could learn at their own pace.

This would not only create better players, but most importantly it'd create NEW fighting game players.

A huge reason why the casual crowd love games like Call of Duty instead of fighting games is because they don't understand the finer points of the games themselves. Some people just think its a button-mash'a'thon with occasional special moves.

Exactly, my point is that "interactables" in mortal kombat are a different thing to "interactables" in injustice. I don't understand why people think that just because there might be interactables in mkx that they'll be exactly like how they are in injustice.
And also interactables in mkx wouldn't be as a result of an influence from injustice, they started out in mkd, got refined in injustice and will now be refined again

Literally the reason one of my freinds won't start playing at tourneys is because he feels overwhelmed to have to learn so much and is very intimidated out how good tourney players are.

A better training mode like Injustice but with the ability to record moves to be used as reversals instead of just specials.

Maybe even individual character tutorials! They could teach how to play as a character or how to fight against a character by exposing their weaknesses.

Interactables closer to Injustice's style were in MK4, actually.

The only thing MKD's interactables influenced were the bombs in Batcave top, as those were pickups.
