Wound is an excellent player for sure, to answer someones earlier question, yes, he is a notorious downplayer of his characters.

Having said that, if anyone actually believes that a smart player like Cowboy would go out of his way to deliberately use bad characters, knowing they are bad, then you're hugely mistaken.
