Would this combo work?

So I have quite a bit of trouble executing the spear after the HP in this combo on Xbox Live: Spear, HK, LP, HP, Spear, HK, Down+LP, Down+HP, HP, JK, Air Throw. It usually comes out too late or not at all. Now my question is would this combo work: Spear, HK, LP, Teleport whiff, HP, Spear, HK, Down+LP, Down+HP, HP, JK, Air Throw? Or does anyone have any tips on how to better execute the first one? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you can't shoot 2 spears too fast consecutively. Also, if you're wondering about the last 2 hits, your position needs to be just right at the end of the combo.
