Why is it okay that Dots / Setups and Buffs disappear after FBs or KBs?

Dunno why nobody is talkin about it but... why is it okay that Dots (Damage over Time) Setups (Totems, Bugs etc) and Buffs disappear after FBs or KBs (even Environmental KBs)?

Geras got a skill which remembers his Position/Life (and everything he did) in the last 4 sec and returns him to that point. But the Game cant remember Buffs/Debuffs on characters and what Setups are placed on the ground?

Because all the DOT KBs are given to top tier characters and are usually excessive in what they do and very easy to land.
