My guess is that f 2, 1 (or whatever that string is that moves sub forward) allows sub zero to hit the ice shatter deeper which would cause more hitstun and more time for the clone shattering to do damage.
@mk_mamood77 Known for a while. Clone should be placed farther back to earn the combo.
What's happening: b33~Frost Bomb is comboing, but before the opponent is lifted from the ground they are contacted by the Shatter, thus they are able to block.
"But if Reptile does a Slow Forceball and chases the opponent with jabs, how come those jabs connect with the Forceball for a full combo?"
Clone shatter does not combo on hit.
If two moves hit on the same frame one will take priority.
So if clone shatter and burst hit at the same time the shatter is taking priority and since you cannot combo after shatter the burst is blockable.
in this scenario the game is working correctly.
The shattered clone has the auto-block properties. If you do b33db1 the clone hit before the frost bomb so the opponent can block it. Same as reptile spit or quan chi skull before the patch.

I see. The problem is the opponent can have an advantage over me on hit after the shatter.
Also b3 db1 is different than b3,3 db1. And when I do ex db1 I dont get the juggle and the opponent doesnt take the shatter klone damage.
Anyway close clone seems useless in this situation.
