RYX

BIG PUSHER
you take goro, the best of the best of his people, guy who's won 9 MK tournaments back to back, fought tons of martial arts prodigies and legends and won, you'd think he would do something resembling a talented fighter right?

well we're going to make him a complete simpleton with no complicated moves and he fights by flailing his limbs around like an agitated chimp

you take shao kahn, the guy who has magic powers that dwarf his own sorcerors', knows blood magic, knows soul magic, conquered realms, you think he might be a skilled fighter right? think he might have some tactical talent, right? think he might finally use some of that god-tier magic once right?

well we're going to make him a complete simpleton with no complicated moves and he fights by flailing his limbs hammer around like an agitated chimp. (with a hammer)

nrs im getting a little upset that you make these champions have almost 0 mechanical depth whatsoever when I want them to play like they're actually timeless badasses who've fought through it all and come out on top. goro and kahn have/had the kits and animations you'd throw to a villain-of-the-week jobber nobody. they're literally the most 2 iconic antagonists/boss fights of ur series that anyone remotely familiar with MK would recognize and you aren't doing them any justice like this.

keep in mind this is mostly a complaint about the lack of depth on their kits but it's also very much about how they're animated; Goro was done so badly in this regard and if this was the last time they're gonna use him as a playable then I'm never gonna get over it. im pretty sure shao kahn is guaranteed a comeback even if it ain't in mk12

you at least have the chance to fix this for shao kahn if you're serious about adding more moves in MK11, throw some magic hand-wavey green powers onto him later and problem solved
