Which MK has the best Fatalities?

It's a hard choice between MK1 and 2....I'm voting 2 just because of the variety and creativity.

I voted MK9 due to it being a fantastic honoring of the classics with modern twists.

For being short, sweet, brutal, and to the point, MK2 is in second. I feel MK2 set the standard for Fatalities.

I’ve never played it since I never owned that generation of consoles (excluding handheld ports, MK9 and MK vs DC are the only MK games I’ve never played) but from the videos I’ve seen MK9 looked utterly brutal. Most seemed to be very visceral hand-to-hand mutilations that put the large array of OTT novelty fatalities in MK11 to utter shame (eg. Sonya’s helicopter, any from the terminator, Cetrion’s giant, etc).

1. MK1 - Just iconic
2. MK2 - Added to the hype, though Sub's fatality going dark was dumb
3. MK9 - Does great at bringing some back and making some new cool stuff.

MK 11 has the best I think, but frankly MK9 and XL were godlike, so I won't even defend my position, lol.
MK 2 will ALWAYS be my favorite.
If you vote for Armageddon or MK vs. DC, I'm going to find you and then I'm going to shake you until your brain starts to work properly.
