I am learning Kung Lao and wanted to ask how is the matchup with Scorpion, can anyone share their experience?

It's more so a 6-4 Scorpion.
His f3 is just better than anything lao has you have to try and flawless block it. You can catch them throwing strings out when the mixup isnt working and punish. Try to stay safe, although I still use ia d4s to get close to him cause he can out zone with searing equipped. I have a bunch of match footage of Scorpions struggling against me.

Scorpion's F34 is not really match-up specific - if you don't flawless block and U2 it with anyone, they can just spam it in complete safety.

I think Shang is our absolute worst match up for a lot of reasons that I'm sure we're all familiar with. Kabal gives me trouble since he's safe, his reach is good and his JI1 is so hard to do anything about. Characters that have moves that just blow up the poking game (Jax, D'Vorah and Lotus Fist Lao come to mind) reallty make landing D3s more work. Really good Kitanas make it tough to take your turn or reach them when it is your turn.
