Already in the game, and not just for fatal blows. You'll find opponents with holes in them after playin D'Vorah due to the ovipositor stabs.

Yah Kung Lao's is good if you're trying to capture a bloody screenshot heh

There's also a modifier in the towers that can cover a character in blood, don't see it much tho....
