U3 Ex claw

Now I saw m2dave doing this a lot at the tournie he won, and it leads to some pretty big damage, it's great for punishing things like blocked teleports.

However, I seem to find if I go for jp U3 ex claw, the claw always misses?? Is this just bad timing or can you only get the ex claw off of u3 with jumps.

It's bad timing.. (Just tested it to make sure)

Okay fair enough.

Seems weird cause I can always get the ex claw after a regular U3, just cant with the added jip.

it definitely has a lot to do with timing. I never just u3 xx ex claw. I always follow up with some string after u3 first.
