Idk if I could spout off ten heroes/villains each and be comfortable with actually calling them favorites. Like I love to read Animal Man/Swamp Thing comics, but if I were to say he was one of my favorites I'd probably be lying. So I guess this won't really be a favorites list, but more the ten characters I like to read the most. My favorites always change tbh, except for Black Adam, Shazam, Aquaman and Batman, those are my GOATS on DC side. NPO on these either.

Can't really put 10 villains and heroes in a list. My favourite DC comicbook heroes are Hal Jordan, Tim Drake (the best Robin, hands down) and Constantine. I also like Teen Titans but more like a team than single character.
My favourite villains and anti-heroes are from Batman comics like Bane, Ra's Al Ghul, Joker, Catwoman and Red Hood
