Who is the best Turtle?

Could you help with superman match up? I play the match up with my friend a lot and I did not really find out it. I have my feelings but sometimes it just a pain. Of course it might be not Leo vs. Sup match up but vs. Sup. :)
1. Lazers: turtle works well even against MB (but he is able to delay the MB enough to beat it though)
2. Anti air air dash: unfortunately F4 doesn't work at the highest point. D2 is good if I can react it but it can be stuffed if I am not on point enough.
3. Mid range: I find myself in a bad spot as where my F2/B1 works superman has twice as fast F2. Therefore I try to press B1/F2 before he can do the F2 or go in range: it results in many whiff punishes for him (not due to step back but rather jump out of it as it is jump range as well).
4. close range: My S2 is 9F though but whiffs a lot in certain situations and superman has still 1 frame faster move not mentioning the 6F D1.
5. Air to air: superman is just better even dive kick trades a lot.
6. He can punish low turtle assist (in certain cases by stepping forward then F2). My friend does not do it though.
7. Turtle backdash/backwalk is so bad I rarely can play goot footsies against his F2 but it is just turtle.

Do you have some tips?
I am not a very good Leo player just picked up recently for fun so I might need more exp.

I wish I could offer more help but I Honestly haven't use Leo that much against Sup. I use Raph for most superman games because up close his parry can make the opponent scared to use f23 trait traps.

Turtling is good to avoid lasers and actually build more meter than sups. With Leo I believe its not good to be up close and its more advisable to stay mid in the range of b12 and Mikey assist. Leo is more a footsies character than a mix up character so its just best to patiently stay in this range and whiff punish. Also from this range you can d2 him if he air dashes.

Thx for the tips. Yes B12 range is the good however in that range the opponent has more chance to whiff punish it with a jump & airdash or back walk.
Too far from is not good but even B1 range is too close as his F2 covers almost the same distance as Leo B1 but twice as fast.

Need to dance properly. I like it and it is completely fun for me therefore I try to improve as much as possible. My friend needs more improvement on sub though. :)
