Honestly the main thing that bothers me is that while I really wanted Sindel, the personality and story retcon don't fit her:

- She says she plotted with Shao Kahn to eliminate Jerrod rather than being forced to marry him and being brainwashed.

- She didn't commit suicide, Quan Chi killed her.

- She loves sex slaves and flirts a lot with Jax, Johnny and Erron on her dialogues... At least I guess she will replace Cetrion as the boobs showing character lol.

I'm the opposite, I think MK needs waayy more bad guys. I mean, who are the genuinely evil characters on mk11 roster? Shao Kahn, DVorah, Kano, Kabal, Kollector, Geras, Frost, Noob, Cetrion. That's it. 9/25, barely more than a third. It's too much of a good guy fiesta.

To be clear I'm not against "civil war" like scenarios where there are lots of good guys but they legitimately and seriously disagree with one another, but that's not really what happens in MKX or MK11.

They retconned the fuck out of Jade in MK11, it happens. Did you see Jade fans throwing a hissy fit? Sindel is not such an important character with such a well known backstory that "the sanctity of her lore must be preserved."

Cetrion isn't evil.

How is Cetrion not evil? Raiden calls her out on her transparent bullshit "philosophy" to her face, and she has an obvious crisis of conscience which her mommy snaps her out of by demanding loyalty. She's misguided and evil. She postures that she cares about life, but she'll eagerly help her mother bring death and destruction to the universe.
