You know, this whole time I was trying to time grapples with that to try and find a good conversion, but what you've suggested is way better.

I can only think of maybe one stage that doesn't transition, so....yeah.

Can someone explain the point of 123,F2,4,123,4,B3,ji2,B2,3? 38%?

It seems like a waste of trait

Why not punish with 223,b3,4,ji2,b2,3,4, hook, for 40%?

Or even 223,ji2,b2,4,b2,3,4,hook?

hmmm i get 40% off the first combo, plus it looks swaggy so its awesome. Shout outs @AK Reno_Racks for starting that combo :p

Also the first combo needs only 1 bat, the second one will require 3 due to all the hit stun in the air already. Seems like to me using all 3 bats instead of just 1 is a waste of trait.

They do the same amount of damage, and the double j2 sometimes is harder to connect that b23, depending on the hitbox.

I guess it's just personal preference?

The best damage and Ideal reset is 113, B3, J3, J2, D2, grapple ex.

Yeah I know, assuming you guess the reset right. I just meant for the meterless combos. I see both variations, but I see j2, j2, b23 a lot more in tournaments.

I am just curious since I main Batman, and I find it easier just to j3 to b23.

i think 113 b3 j3 b23 is about 34 or 35 percent? i forget

and 113 b3 j2 j2 b23 is 37 percent

It's a good meterless option off of his 123 string. 123 is also his most reliable string.

You should release them as soon as Batman starts to roll back, after you input the b23, before the third hit -the explosion-. Anyway, if you're only missing the grapple, not the bats, then the problem is the grapple. You have to input it very fast after pressing the trait button.

Thanks, I've got it down better, still a pain in the ass combo though. I got a new controller and the buttons are still hard to press until I break it in.

Both are 33 %. J2 j2 leaves the opponent slightly closer to the corner, that should be the main reason to use it instead of j3.
And yeah I never thought of that, makes sense. j2 j2 does look cooler.
