I think in an effort to help players understand and explore a character I would like to start a discussion about Aquaman’s normals and strings. This can act like a living guide where the uses for certain buttons and strings can be discussed and match up specific knowledge can be shared, for example X string stuffs Y wake up against this character.


I plan to keep updating this thread as more knowledge fills it up. This will also grant us a better perspective if something is buffed or nerfed.

As information comes in I will update the guide with this information. I'll also be improving the formatting as add information.

S= Start up frames
A= Active frames
R= Recovery
B= Block Advantage (punishable normals and strings will be RED, Plus strings will be GREEN)
H= Hit Advantage
C= Cancel

Flounder Fist

Mera's Fury
Input = B1 Level = Low
S= 11 A= 2 R= 19 B= -4 H= 18 C= 17

Surface Dwellers
Input = F1 Level = Mid
S= 7 A= 4 R= 22 B= -4 H= 20 C= 26

Shark Strike

Input = D1 Level = Mid

Analysis:
Extremely fast poke. Can be used punish with from the deep or start pressure with trident rush.
