Sub Zero Gear Optimization

This is a casual thread for single player gear stuff.

You can stack two if the same augment in any piece of gear. The chance of rolling two if the same augment is low, but I've done it successfully and want to share some augment set-ups.

Ninja Mask- you want a double chaos roll on your ninja mask. Sub Zero has an augment that grants Ice Ball 20 damage on hit. Double stack this for 40 damage on every Ice Ball. Ex Ice Ball does over 10% of your opponents health this way.

So far this is the ideal Ninja Mask gear setup. Haven't unlocked enough Sub Zero augments for his axes or belt yet.

Two cryogenic freeze augments for your mask gives +120 damage to ice ball, +9% overall damage, and can be acquired in his character towers. Enjoy getting 319 damage just from two ice balls. His BnB’s hit around 50%, and I’ve hit 65% during FB combos without much trouble.

Fill his other slots with whatever you have that gives +4.5% damage. So far I’ve seen augments up to +9% for all his other specials.
