Stryker Corner Inf. Trouble

I've been trying to do this inf for a couple days now and I've had the same problem every time. Basically, I do the popup, gun near the corner. Then i jk aalp and gun again. That's easy, but once I fire the gun, I go in for the 2nd jk and he jumps way over their head, letting them drop to the floor. Can anyone point out what I'm doing wrong?

You are cancelling the iceskate with the gun too soon. Let Stryker skate out a little bit more before the gun.
