It seems a little jarring that Robin's best pressure string has a 7f gap in it, but putting it in perspective it doesn't seem that bad, depending on the MU.
Fastest pokes are 6f. That's a 1 frame margin of error that could cost the opponent ~500 damage and a set up. On top of that, if an opponent wants to do damage, most have to commit to d1 xx special, which is another risk as raw stand 2 is safe. All of this to poke out of 212 xx blue, which is 0/ -1.
7f pokes (trades) will result in Robin being able to mash 212 again, and still combo as if nothing happened. Effectively, this is just boosting Robin's damage.
6f d2's are more reliable (Batman, Blue Beetle, etc), and 7f d2's (Aquaman) will at least result in a clean trade.
Other useful options; reversals like Batman/ Canary parry, commit to reversal super, interactables, other MU specific stuff (Bane w/ venom?).
Most armor is broken by the last 2 hits, and most back dashes are punished.
