Question Smoke OTG question.

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere. I dug around a bit but didn't see a clear answer.

After looking in the combo thread most of the high damage combos include OTG smoke balls after a JK air grab. Im just picking up smoke for a pocket character and for some diversity from reptile and cyrax.

So is the OTG still working? I cant pull it off yet and seem to remember a hotfix regarding smokes balls off the ground.are these combos still viable?

If the otg still works im assuming its a tight timing issue im having. If they are no longer working combos can someone point me to a thread with some stuff that is being used today?

The OTG does not work anymore in the patched versions of Smoke. It only works when you pick his retro costume at the moment.

The last page or so of this thread should be the latest combos, there are strings you can still link a Smoke Bomb in without an air grab.

Enhanced smoke bomb still otgs, but you can block it (in not mk2 costume). Deals 10% unscaled damage, but it does not lift them up for a combo

eh i can hold a good 38% damage with him and ive found my tricks

He's still got a lot of power behind him, by no means is he that crippled.
