Shattered Alliances Part 2

Azarashi Elder

Fut-SEAS....OF BLOOD!
If I have to hear Sub Zero players cry about him being low tier during Injustice 2 also, I am going to rage.
I don't think it's a good idea to take Sub's appearance for granted. It seems like that's what NRS would do, since Scorpion was in the first one, but SZ has not been confirmed, or even hinted at, afaik.

It could be Cassie Cage DLC for all we know. Or Liu Kang,, or Johnny...

Boon did a pool on which MK character fans would like to see as a guest in Injustice and he won with a pretty good lead. He then took a screenshot of the poll results and captioned it with something like "We give the fans what they want"

So it's not tooootally out of left of field for people to assume his inclusion.

x TeeJay o

Canary Cry Gapless Pressure
Okay, TeeJay, I fucks with you, BUT WE GOT BEEF NOW. How, in the holy hell, can you say Etrigan is meh? DO YOU EVEN KNOW?! Like for real, Etrigan is one of the coolest characters DC has FREE.
He may be cool to you but he's meh to me lol it's just my opinion there's no fact in that statement. I'm sure he'd make a good character tho in the game

Energy Crisis

new to posting, but I been a ghost for years
Captain Atom and Weather Wizzard ? I hope that never comes true lol
Idk...Weather Wizard has potential. I could see them incorporating elements (see what I did there?) from Raiden, Rain, Fujin, & even Kitana. They have all the tools they need already to make it happen.

Agreed. I wouldn't replace it, BUT, I do hope they get Tom Hardy to do a pass, and give us a Dark Knight Rises skin. I'm a big fan of that version of the character.

Actually, I liked all the villains in the Nolan films.
Ugghh...

Because his voice was big, menacing, and with just the right amount of spanish luchador in his accent. I loved it, what was wrong his voice from I1?
Spanish luchador? What? How is that character connected to a "Spanish luchador" in any way except the costume form I1? Plus to me he sounded more like a dumb brute and his accent changed based on what he was saying = not so good voice acting. Opinions I guess ;)

Id rather not have a white dude playing a venomless Bane with a meme for a voice.

In terms of a Bane depiction Nolans version was terrible imo and they didnt even complete the story arc of Batman redeeming himself against Bane in the movie, Catwoman just shows up and shoots him with her motorcycle when he was about to break his back for a second time, what a joke of an ending

Because comic Bane is south american and fights like a juiced up WWE star throwing people around like ragdolls and breaking backs, he is nothing like TDKR depiction in terms of appearance, background, or fighting style. That movie focussed on his startegical side but not the other, he needs both. And yes when he is juiced up he is suppose to sound like a raging brute, thats what the venom does. They should show off his intellectual side during intros and story but when its time to throw down he needs to go into the raging hulk mode, there are 2 sides to the character.

I never mentioned TDKR because I despise its depiction of this character so where did that come from? Also I never connected this character to a luchador because he has a mask, is south american and has muscles but nevermind. Like I said, opinions.

Fair enough. Tbh, when I found out what changes they were making with Bane for TDKR, I hated them like any other fan. I'm not gonna go into film critique because it's off topic, but I see that version of Bane as a completely different character and I like that version. I wouldn't replace the comic book/Injustice version, but why deny fun to fans of that movie?
Why hate on an extra option that wouldn't even be in story mode?
Don't be that guy.

It's like saying "Hal Jordan will always be Green Lantern and John Stewart shouldn't be a skin or have any dialogue."

C'mon bruh, are you the fun police or what?

Well the 2 most well known depictions of him are tdkr version and the juiced up luchador version so I was just assuming. How would you depict him though if not I1 style but with his intellectual side shown off before he starts pumping up? Im just curious what you would change

I think gear like the trench coat/vest and mask could work but re-recording all his lines in Hardy voice just doesnt seem like it would fit at all with his physical appearance or fighting style since it is so different from the Hardy version. If he fights anything like he did in I1 the voice would just be so out of place

I meant that the voice acting (for example during his clash quotes) was whack and sounded uneven.
I don't think you understand the word Luchador as I do. Not that Im a specialist on the subject but maybe thats the point of misunderstanding in our little conversation here ;)
I can hardly compare him to a luchador just because of his race and the fact that he wears a mask and has big muscles.

Well theres also the wrestling singlet too. They just need to show both halves of the character, the hulked up brawler side and the intellectual side, but youcant really do both at the exact same time and it doesnt make sense to try and show off his intellect in the middle of a fight. He strategically plans things out like Batman like the strip you showed but when it comes down to actual fight time he gets down and dirty and throws people around like a WWE fighter. So before the fight in the intros/story cutscenes show off that side but when he juices up for the fights its back to I1 style.
