Two things... The "Rain" in the konquest menu actually might just be a generic person for us to control in the Krypt

My biggest worry with Shang being DLC was that he wouldn't be a part of the story. I really wanted him to interact with these characters.

But since he has a model that's ready to go, that means he could be in the story without being fightable. Really crossing my fingers.

Very interesting. That puts the "leaks / rumors" of Shang Tsung being one of three unlockable secret characters into a very bad light. And that probably very well means that we aren't getting Mileena at all in the base roster. Well, there is always DLC, I guess. But then again, if NRS really goes through with not adding the same character as DLC twice, then Rain will have to sit this game out as well.
