Great Job XXZ , got two questions , was the Teleport Uppercut (air) done instantly? 18 frames seems right for the IaTu.

The second question is: Would it be possible to have frame advantage data with your method? (EX: at how much frames is Sektor after the opponents block :fp :bp ? )

It was, I'm not sure if you can get faster.. You could get some information about advantage, maybe if you compare some known variables and slap it on the jump/duck method and hope it lines up.

Humans have to duck and poke out of pressure, sektors a robot, he just stands and punches you.

60fps capture and then by counting the frames. Some moves are so sketchy though and are a frame faster or slower at times so I just say screw it and pick the one that is most common.

Honestly, that explains a lot. He can punish some stuff in his sleep with that thing.

To bad the range on the 1, 2, b1 string is so horrible that you need to dash in real close for most punishes, which adds time.

honestly, ive been in situations whre ive been mashing d1 and a standing 1 comes out and interupts said frame trap. i go ! then i cannot hit confirm the 1 hitting in 1/13th of a second so i dont get a launcher. If your fishing for 12b1 dont be suprised if you launch someone out of a frame trap . lol. i've played this character a while and i know my 12/122 pressure is actually legit now.

Wasn't there a Sektor thread a while back complaining that the standing 1 should hit crouch blockers? Can you imagine how insane this string would be if that was the case?
 
there was a scorpion thread a while back that complained that scorpions 1 didnt hit low blocking/crouching opponents. That would be rediculous for any character. I like my robot, but i dont like my robot broken. Sektor is one of the most balanced characters that is still severly underrated. on a stand block the whole meta-game of 122 is insane. As a sektor player myself i am proud to say that i can hit confirm the 12. ok i hit you with 12? i do 12b1 for a 38%+ combo, you block it? i do 122(2's an overhead) into flamethrower/front missle (for half a bar of meter gain with said string and is mostly safe) or front/back regular upmissle for a complete mindfuck or possible safe jump. so with 1 starting at 6 frames the whole 12 string is just craziness. I sound like a madman when im explaining this to someone on xbl whos never played sektor. his whole 12 jab game is one of the best in in the game, if not the best.


I like having actual data to back me up for why i love this character so much. I could never punish reptiles dash on block with any character except sektor (prepatch and post) i think thats why i stuck with this robot over all these months. 12b1 ftw.

That's not true. Just duck and you can punish him mid string. It also won't hit you while blocking low. There's little reason to block high against Sektor.

While yes it's the fastest, you also have to factor in it's range. Sektor has tiny little t-rex arms so the 2 in the 12 string doesn't reach as far as the 1 does. So against characters like REPTILE who now has PUSHBACK on a blocked dash, it can't be punished with 12b1 because the 2 won't reach far enough to hit him. I wish they would change the 2 in the 12b1 string to reach just as far as the first 1 does. I'm not crying for a buff or whatever. I love sektor the way he is.

Do you know how many frames U3 is by itself?? If you kan find out it would help me out quite a bit..

sheeva also seems to have tiny t-rex arms when it comes to punching people.
I would assume that most of his other string launchers aren't fast enough to punish the faster recovering moves.
