If the opponent does nothing b3 will still connect and the opponent will be on the ground. If he breaksaway he gets full combo. My point was that Scorpion is safe to throw out b3 after sin blade(as a starter) without getting punished for just doing that compare to amp teleport where that one could whiff completely.
You could also do 112 to bait breakaway and end up with oki, so what's your point? Is the guaranteed 2 hit combo a gamechanger?
Basically nothing has changed with the introduction of armor breaker for Scorpion, unless you play somebody who doesn't lab.

112 doesn't do a lot of dmg. And doing 112 when the opponent decides to breakaway means only one of your hits will register. They can get up off the floor by the time you finish 112. Oki is gone.

B3 guarantees a hit advantage of 35 if they decide not to break. On the other hand if they break, they get relaunch for a full combo. You don't have anything to lose here playing a guessing game with the opponent off a sin blade starter.
 
Scorpion players y'all holding tech? Where's that community aspect? Are y'all afraid if this got out, it would be nerfed? I guess just like everything scorpion had.

Yeah, it would’ve been pretty cool to have gotten the spear as one instead, maybe even giving the KB for it as an alternate way of getting to trigger that one. That’d probably be too good, or at least require reworking other armor breakers across the cast as well.
