Although Scorpion is crippled without Misery Blade, he makes up for it in damage with the Searing Demon variation. The only thing Scorpion needs IMO are safer strings and specials.
Edit: Also, while performing a Krushing Blow it depletes the burning spear buff automatically for some reason.
