We are less than a week away from the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event: the event where they will reveal things about Mortal Kombat 11. And if you missed the news, @Charybdis and @HellblazerHawkman will be at the London and LA events respectively to do that live coverage thing we've heard so much about.

So in the spirit of revealing things, feel free to drop some questions you'd like for either one of us to ask NRS if we can get a hold of somebody. We can't promise that we can even get somebody to talk to us, but we'll do our best to get some answers. There's probably even some things we can get figured out just by being ourselves and paying attention to what they are showing. Either way, ask us stuff. If it's for the London event, make sure you use the UK English though, otherwise they won't understand us.

How long does it take them to create one character and how much does it cost in total?

I would like to ask them what leve of support we should expect on the Switch. Will it be the same as PS4 and Xbox One or will it be something akin to what happened in IGAU?

I wanna know if variations are both aesthetic and gameplay changing or just aesthetics? It would also be cool hear what the theme for this game is since X was next generation.

For how long you guys have been developing MK11?

What was the most dificult thing to implement in terms of feature.

Is Steve Richie voicing over Shao Kahn once more?

I think the most important thing for any new game is just how the game works.

When I was at PAX East in the leadup to Injustice, Derek took me aside for 15 min. or so with a setup and explained how the new game mechanics and a bit of the meta worked, and that was hugely helpful.. So it'd be cool if you could give the skinny on how MK11 works and what's new about the meta.

I know they're a bit touchy about showing video other than true screencap, but if you can make an audio recording, even better.

      Assuming they’re allowed to talk about it, my question would be;

What was behind the decision to give the game a numeric title rather than a subtitle, and is there any correlation behind the stylisation of the logo with the number 11 being so prominent?

(whilst I will be at the London reveal I don’t know yet if I’ll be able to ask the staff these kind of questions myself, so just in case :p )

How often can we expect to get new information following the Reveal? Every week, every two weeks?
And, when can we more or less expect to see the contents of the Kombat Pack revealed?

@HellblazerHawkman Firstly thank you for letting us get a chance to ask NRS something. My question would probably be (assuming they don't confirm it during the reveal):

"Will online Ranked have a tier system with bronze/silver/gold/platinum/diamond similar to other competitive games?"
    9. Raider
-Will there be a cross-play and why is there no beta for PC?

    10. vapid
      Why do NRS hate Fujin?

I will only be answering questions which contain 17 syllables. You are warned.

17? That’s an oddly specific number.

Can I suck Ed Boon off to get a 'The Reveal' copy to play at my home?

      1. Will it be easier to unlock gear for characters we actually play often?(unlike I2 where it was random)

      2. Will there be an option like MK X, where we can just buy everything(shaders, alternate costumes and cosmetics) for the characters so long as it doesn't effect gameplay if we don't have time to grind?

      3. Will there be a 4 player mode again like tag in MK 9 both offline/online?

NOTE: To @Charybdis and @HellblazerHawkman I don't know if you guys would take say a question each but I'm more concerned with the first two than the third honestly. Thanks a million for doing this guys you rock!

Will the game online modes be region locked like MKX?

Ask if the character leveling system from INJUSTICE 2 is making a return for MK11.
    17. Tanno
      I have only two questions.

      1) If by chance they don't announce the CE, when will we expect the CE? I don't wanna buy anything till I see their CE. What would its contents be?

      2) Fujin when?
    18. xXRagingFlameXx
Could you ask them if their single-player experience will be just as good as it was in Injustice 2? Outside of the story, and the towers that we can assume will be in. Will I be able to get all of my goodies without having to play Ranked or King of The Hill?
    19. NothingPersonal
Ask about crossplay and region lock.

Devs get so sick of the constant bitching and begging from the fan base. I look at most of these questions in this thread and just think of that Tekken dev.. lol.

You don't want to go up there and sound like your reading some stupid twitter post. Maybe ask them who should win the Oscars for best film. Something fun. They get barraged with the same questions constantly... might be a good opportunity to forge a personal relationship to them. Asking a cute fun question could be a good way to get much better content at other events over time. Reporters do this all the time, it really does work.

      1. I just want to know if the “custom character variations” will be worth using, and how they’ll be selected. In Injustice 2, they were basically worthless since the custom moves were disabled in any sort of ranked or fair competitive match. I liked the K&M prediction from one of their latest videos, where you’d select your loadout of moves on the character select screen.
      2. Will the custom moves be unlocked for everyone from the start, or will they be tied to the RNG gods again? I never did get Robin’s staff...
      3. If gear drops are similar to Injustice 2 in terms of frequency, will the inventory management actually be usable? It was awful in Injustice 2. I spent almost as much time managing inventory as I did playing the damn game.

Speaking of gear, please for the ever loving hell please ask them if they got rid of all the repeat gear. If I have one epic, I don't wanna get that same epic 12 more times.

I also ended up deleting all of the common and rare gear anyway so I'd have space for epics. The only rare gear I'd ever save is if it was unique looking enough. I'd rather have a smaller amount of gear for each character as long as each piece looked truly unique. More isn't always better.

I want to know if they're going to keep the greatest feature ever introduced in any NRS game so far:

      The Wi-Fi player indicator
      TackyHaddock and JBeezYBabY like this.

If tag team isn't already in the game, was it considered? Why did they decide not to add it? And does it have a chance to be added in the future?

EDIT: And thanks for doing this for us.
