Combo List - Quan Chi Quan Chi Combo Thread (Remastered)

This was my combo. I stopped doing this bc of inconsistency with rising bat hitting after skull for njp. Just stick to the original bnb with bat.

Starter into close rune, bl2, b2 trance, bat, f212 skull, l2 far rune does 40-41%

And a new 49-48% 1 bar midscreen combo with bat.

B2/b32 skull, l2 MB trance, bat, ji2 f2122, run cancel d2, l2 far rune
Oww, great I assumed the timing was really tight as fck or inconsistent. Thanks I'll lab it later and see how it goes.

Dude this combo B324, 4xtrance, bat summon, f2122, fbat, 141, bat summon doesn't work in the summoner section. I spent so much time trying to get the first part then only checked that the cancel on it is 0. Felt like an idiot but came here to save that pain for the others.

What exactly doesn't work? This is a BnB that I use frequently. The bat summon isn't supposed to be cancelled from the 141. It comes after the HKD from the 141 for a free bat setup.

Not sure if mentioned in the other 5 pages but there are more damaging Warlock meterless corner combos than in the OP, at least this are the ones I got:

Mid:

F2122, 4, 4 ~ Trance, Jump Backwards Punch, F2122, NJP, 14 ~ Portal Grab = 41%

Low:

B324, 4, NJP, 4 ~ Trance, Jump Backwards Punch, F2122, 14 ~ Portal Grab = 40%

OH:

B2 ~ Trance, Jump Backwards Punch, F2122, 4, NJP, 4, 14 ~ Portal Grab = 35%


The Low one requires training and is tight but I think the other 2 can be done without much effort.

The B324 has cancel 0 so the trance doesn't come after that. How do you get the 4x trance post that? (sorry new to Quan so forgive mistakes if any).

sry I guess I misunderstood what you said wasn't working. What you need to do is B324, standing 4 into trance. Practice the B324 4 combo to get the timing right if you are having a problem with that. After that move on to the standing 4xTrance. It is a pretty quick button combo for the 4xTrance

Ah okay that cleared it. Thanks a lot man. Really appreciate this didn't know the 4xtrance meant 4 (kick) cancel into trance haha.

Warlock Mid Corner 1 Bar:

F2122, 4, 4 ~ EX Ground Blast, NJP, 14 ~ Trance, Jump Backwards Punch, F212 ~ Portal Grab = 46% (if you don't want to change sides, with a regular ground blast you get 45%).

The Mid combo I listed before also nets 45% if you EX the Trance.

Since September's patch I can't connect the 14 after the run if I used the NJP before because of the heavier gravity penalty, I remember I could connect it before the patch but since then I haven't been able (without the NJP the combo is 35% instead of the 36% listed in the OP).

Also, many of the "crossover punch" can be replaced with regular JIP, you just need to know the correct position for the JIP to work if you don't want to change sides:

F122, 4 ~ Trance: You jump from the starting position
B324, 4 ~ Trance: You walk back a bit then jump
B2 (or any non launcher) ~Trance: You walk forward to touch the opponent and then jump backward and punch.

This helps a lot. I've been looking at Warlock recently and was curious about the "crossover punches." Switching sides is not something I'd like to do with every combo, although it's certainly opportune sometimes.

In regards to Edit1, that combo seemed very tricky to me, as well, and I couldn't find consistency with the way it was listed. I just opted for the 35% combo version. Keep in mind, I'm new to Warlock and its combo execution.

All combos which I prefer to use. One's which include throw are obviously part of the guessing game, don't always go for them.

Some are not optimal, no. But they look cool. As I said, just ones I prefer to use. For the D3's, you just have to get the timing properly. The recovery on it is great, so ya just have to get used to the timing, shouldn't be awfully hard.

Best I could find for him in the corner off a overhead into rune for safety, it's also the EASIEST combo to execute that I could find its much easier than any alternatives

For Warlock midscreen you can do b2, EX close rune, run, 4, trance, fully charged b2, 14 portal grab - 37%.
In Sorcerer you can do the same thing except do a quick run before doing the fully charged b2 and end with 141. The run just ensures that you get maximum corner carry.

Is this combo still viable on Warlock?

I tried it and it only came out to 29%. Trying to find something midscreen meterless with at least 30% for Warlock.
