Since the last patch, towers effects that allowed to summon a character can be performed while being comboed like others.
Before the patch the character assist towers were some of the better balanced and fairer because if you hit, you wouldn't be punished for playing the right way. Now instead of making other effects work like that, summons are no longer well balanced.
Luckily I already had completed most summon towers, but this sucks for new players, specially for challenges where in addition to summons you had to deal with extra effects, like in the gauntlet or the missiles + sektor or cyrax towers.
