I've been experimenting with these for a while now and I feel they're a valid option in a match. Quan's skull will hit a block crouching opponent if you're to use standing 3, d3 or b3. Now, your opponent can punish you with a fast uppercut (Quan's frame data hasn't been completed yet - so there's possibly more) if they decide to release block and crouch the skull, since that'll whiff. However, if your opponent starts figuring this out, you can start following up the standing 3, d3 or b3 with a trance instead.

I feel this is good as it puts your opponent in a 50/50 situation between you building meter and landing damage.
