Did you watch it tho. LOL. What other trait messes up your gameplay w/o you actually pressing the 4 button to start its active frames? I mean yeah sure you can argue that you should be "zoning" with Ivy, but I don't think she's the best zoner. Not to downplay her, just saying she really needs some changes so that she'll be more consistent. If you take out trait, the only thing you should worry about is someone disrespecting you and hitting you while Nightshade is vomitting. You shouldn't, in my opinion, be afraid that if you hit someone, you'll get punished for it.
No other character has the issue. It's clearly not intentional. If it is, idk why anybody would want to play an inconsistent character.
Furthermore, other Ivy mains are literally asking for these things to be fixed, not because they think she's not strong enough, but because it's just straight up unfair for them to put up trait for the sole purpose of having the advantage, and then finding that they are actually at a disadvantage. Let's be realistic here, Ivy clearly isn't a 100% zoner. So she's gonna need to come in at some point. Her up close pressure, with very little to no overhead/low mix, shouldn't be punished when she opens her opponent up with Nightshade active.
