PLEASE READ! Problems with setting up the controls ( default issue)

There is a problem with "default" at the bottom of custom 1,2,3 and 4.

If you change your controls and want them to go back to default then DO NOT USE default.

It seems that every custom ( 1,2,3,4) has it's own default.

I've been trying to Troubleshoot the issue but the results are really too mixed.

Best way to see this
Go to custom 1 and then to default. Make notice of what you see on the controls.

Then go to custom 2, and then click default.

You will notice that custom 1 and custom 2 default are not the same.

Always try and set your controls yourself.

DEFAULT ON CUSTOM 1 IS NOT EVEN REAL DEFAULT.
SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND FIX YOUR CONTROLS.

i can see all the amine
wait was that the issue people were having at civil war? i thought it was obvious that it was like type a, type b, etc. kind of thing combined with the mk9 system of the individual customs affecting all players. not saying its a good system but it shouldnt be hard to realize how it works. then again i think some of the players dont own the game.

Yea that was the problem. Some people wanted default so clicked default. But its not the control scheme they were getting.

On custom 1 default hard and trait are switched.

Who knows what happens on the other customs. I do know its not actual default

whooooooooa...wait a minute then. I've been playing on xbox pad layout 1 and my layout is.

x=light
y=medium
A=heavy
b=trait

are my controls supposed to be normally

x=light
y=medium
B=heavy
a=trait

...so that light, medium, heavy are all in a row with trait hanging out under them?

I can't remember if I hit that default thing or not.

No you are playing correctly shaowebb

This is the correct layout which you use.
Well there is no correct layout, but thats the original one.

x=light
y=medium
A=heavy
b=trait

That is how the game starts you out with the controls too!
However selecting default on any of the customs changes it to something else.

Thanks for clearing that up. I guess we know what the first hotfix will be about then because thats already causing issues at tournies. Thanks for helping us out on this.

Get over here!
I was wondering why that happened. I was playing with a friend and he uses another scheme. When it was my turn again, my default was all messed up. We just reset that game thinking it was a glitch.

Sorry, Im still confused... So when initially starting the game and doing the initial training the controls are:

x=light
y=medium
B=heavy
a=trait

But by going to the controls and hitting default (for custom setup 1) they become:

x=light
y=medium
A=heavy
b=trait

Is that correct? Also, Is the former the best setup for the face buttons, just curious?

Would it be better to have it:
x=medium
y=light
A=heavy
b=trait

You have them mixed up.
When initially running the game the controls are
X/SQUARE= light
Y/Triangle= medium
A/cross= Heavy
B/Circle= Trait

When selecting default it switches the heavy and trait.

As for "the best configuration" it is 100% a matter of preference.

Hmm, this may be a silly question but are the default controls the same as the controls found on cabinets?
