I know some people like him, but I personally don't. I'd rather someone else be in the game, and they keep Liu Kang dead. He served his purpose as the generic chosen one character for the first Mortal Kombat. Now Johnny or whoever can take his place.

I'm hoping for this as well. Standard liu was boring, and overlapped with kung lao(who was inherently more interesting), and now with team special forces it's going to be crowded in the "good guy main character" role. I'd be much happier if they pulled the fire god liu kang card out and re did him
