NRS Reportedly Starting Production on Marvel vs DC Game [LEAK]

That's my biggest fear about a crossover game, the roster would need to be enormous, otherwise it would legit just be like half the JL vs half the Avengers, with no room for the loveable jobbers and side characters. Like, take the Injustice 2 roster and try to replace half of the characters we got with Marvel characters and see how many notable characters you're able to represent from both universes.

Roster might look like this

DC Mainstays (guaranteed): Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Green Arrow, Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, Green Lantern

Marvel MCU (Gauranteed): Iron Man, Cap, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Falcon

DC 2nd Tier (solid choices to make it): Joker, Supergirl/Powergirl, Scarecrow, Darkseid/Doomsday, Teen Titan Rep

Marvel 2nd Tier (solid choices to make it): Panther, Guardians Rep, AntMan/Wasp, Loki, Thanos, Winter Soldier, War Machine

DC Fan Favs (not everyone gets in): More Titans, Batgirl, Ivy, Hawkgirl, Grodd, Swamp Thing, Mera, Circe, Zod, Nightwing?

If there is a slight chance that this is happening, pleeeeease for the love of god DON’T EXCLUDE THE X-MEN! It always pissed me off that as of late most Marvel games carter to the MCU... Where is Mystique?? Rogue?? Gambit?? STORM?? I just hope they don’t make the same mistake as MvC Infinite. The X-Men were the foundations that lead to the MCU... But they’re hardly seen these days...

I don't think you'll have to worry about the X-men being excluded considering the third Marvel Ultimate Alliance had them.

I don't think anyone should be surprised they moved on to a new project ages ago. Their 2-year cycle is real, and no MK11 communication of any kind for the last half a year... except to cancel WePlay tournaments, which were actually getting people hyped again. Can't have that when you've already dropped the game and are gearing up to market your next title to push out and forget about.

If the X-Men are in it’s almost impossible to think it’d be anyone other than Wolverine and Storm. Potentially Deadpool (even though he’s technically not X-Men), but they could just save him for DLC and make bucketloads.

I love this, but in some specific characters I prefer the Evolution version. Plus, this is where X-23 originated from.

X-Men and Spiderman characters should be a priority. And Doctor Doom!!

agreed!! I love the injustice games balance of hero’s AND villains. Spider man vs Batman is cool and all but like, where’s killer croc? Bane?? Venom, shocker, and doc oc? The more I think about it the more I’d rather have an all marvel game or injustice 3. Dc vs marvel is hype and all but it’s kinda gimmicky.

In my opinion Injustice 2's roster was weaker than Injustice 1. I think the first one was more representative of the DC Universe, with more iconic characters. It can be improved tho!

Has anybody mentioned Daredevil? We need Daredevil. I can definitely see him taking some inspiration from Nightwing in Injustice 1.

I actually liked Injustice 2 roster slightly more, Black Canary was a treat, it was cool to see Atrocitus, Fate got some love. Only ones I really missed were Frost, and Doomsday

If this is actually true(and it seems to be the case given recent tweets), it will be a turning point for me concerning NRS, very dissapointed. If they announce it and MK is left to die as it is, i will distance myself from all things NRS after one decade standing by them(yes, i'm irrelevant i know)

I'm not trying to ruin the party here, i just wanted to vent. Carry on everyone.
