Marvel/Disney aren't allowing their IP's to be used for the first time by a new developer and not be the absolute main focus of the game.
Having said that....please be a fighting game and please don't play anything like MK11......please.....
I doubt they'd go block button if they want to attract the mvc audience. I'm not sure how much that would make a difference.
Honestly, I think it makes a pretty big difference. I assume if this is indeed a fighting game, they'll treat it like Injustice with the back to block simply to separate it from feeling like an MK game.
WB answers to money alone. Why put money into 11 when they can just churn out another video game to print money. Marvel v DC would likely be the single most profitable fighting game in history.

IF it does happen they MUST be included. No question! Storm is an absolute must.....she has such a rich video game history. I'm sure wolverine will be a given. Maybe cyclops and jean? I would LOVE to see rogue but not sure she would be a top 5 pick for x-men characters. I would love psylocke and nightcrawler but they are further down the list of popularity.

Man, I agree. The X-men were also the foundation of the whole MvC series. I love Children of the atom, Marvel Super Heroes, and XvSF.

It's a real achievement for Marvel to do as well as they have without them, I would put like 15 X-Men in my top 25 Marvel characters
That's my biggest fear about a crossover game, the roster would need to be enormous, otherwise it would legit just be like half the JL vs half the Avengers, with no room for the loveable jobbers and side characters. Like, take the Injustice 2 roster and try to replace half of the characters we got with Marvel characters and see how many notable characters you're able to represent from both universes.
