Nightwolf Spirit of Hana Ability

Nightwolf's move where he summons his spirit eagle to buff himself, what does it do?
It says "Modifies several attacks" in the moves list but I haven't been able to find a single one with any difference at all.

Yea ive been wondering the same thing. Have you checked if it does something with meter? I know the attack stops the opponents from amplifying but i have no idea about it myself.

I know it makes his shoulder travel almost fullscreen.

It keeps the opponents from using specials and modifies some of his specials.

Yeah I thought about that but it doesn't seem like it has anything to do with meter.
