As a bit of background the last FG I've played competitively was SFIV. I quickly fell out of the FGC as I mostly got into PC games competitively.
That being said the last time I can remember playing a Mortal Kombat game was MK Trilogy for N64 and spamming nets as Cyrax as the CPU. I've been doing a lot of reading about the MK11 the last couple days and picked it up last night. I'd like to be able to get into this game competitively to eventually play locally and tourney settings. But I just feel like I have so much to learn to as to where to start.
Does anyone have any resources or threads to look at as far as a newcomer looking to get into the game competitively? Things such as terminology (I can decipher some of the lingo that mixes over from other fighting games, and picked up on the inputs), or something that goes over the mechanics of the MK series.
