New player a bit stuck

HI all! I bought the game a few days ago on steam and whenever I load it up, the game acts like a and w are constantly being held down. I've verified the integrity of my game files and that helped for a bit but the moment I reload the game, the same thing happens. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Well...

1. Double your chances to find resolution by asking for help on steam forums.
2. Triple them by conatacting steam support.
3. Post it on official Mortal Kombat forum.
4. Try to change settings and set up and down to other buttons. Play on it for a while than restart pc few times and play MK for a while after each restart. Check if this problem will reoccur. If not try going back to A,D. If it happens again but wasnt happening when Up and Down were assigned to other buttons you can move entire WSAD command set 1 button right turning it into EDSF.
5. This is no resolution but consider getting PS4 controller/ Arcade Stick. 98% of peoples whose preferences are known to me favours Pad/Stick over KB.
