Anyone that's interested please let me know. I'll go through the thread here and start collecting names to add. I'll try to target getting the thread up by tomorrow afternoon - I want to think on the layout and setup of this some and try to make it a "thing" we can get going and keep going and try to grow it in to something that helps us all.

It would be interesting to see if some experienced players would be interested in 'donating' some time in the thread to act as 'coaches' of a sort occasionally.

Also, and I'll add all this in the thread, for those that can, Id encourage recording some of your sets with fellow players, they can be posted and critiqued and all that.

Dunno, just seems like it would be a decent spot to sort of condense the info and help us all level up as we go by attaching some aspects of discussion to the matches themselves, and while voice chat is great for that too, some forum discussion could help from an archival standpoint. Someone else may read someone's approach to a MU or mindset, or some snippet of advice that really helps them out.

Just s thought. I wouldn't mind trying to put something like that together if others were interested.

It's all so very confusing.
I have the basis for the post typed up, I'll get people added to the list starting tonight and might get a kind of beta version of the post up tonight so you guys can give me feedback on the layout and formatting and the policies/info I have typed up.

Also, I'll be on around 930-10ish est (approx 2 1/2-3hrs) if anyone is interested in some games, I'll be sending out a invite or two if no one posts here they want to play.

MIght try a little Sub Zero for kicks. Never played him in a match.. but played some MKX yesterday and I mained GM Sub there.. and it got me all nostalgic, though they are obviously super different characters.

I don't even know wtf that was, connection was great but nothing was coming out, couldn't combo, couldn't get specials. Was driving me nuts. I'd hit f22 and kick then stand there. Ugh. Lol. Also, I couldn't guess right vs cheetah AT ALL. Sigh. I'll do better next time. Ggs man. Don't mean this as a line of excuses just trying to explain some of the weird shit I was doing - or not doing rather.

Sorry to keep repeat posting, but I'm afraid if I attach this at the bottom of my last pot it'll be overlooked.

I want this group to be forum-centric for numerous reasons, but what do you all think about a TYM Training Discord, just to facilitate meeting up and give us easy access to voice chat (other than just the built in stuff on xbox/ps4)... ? Just a thought. i dont want to funnel the discussions and such away from the forums though, but sometimes it can be tricky to arrange games if you dont know if you're sending invites to someone who isnt there, is just busy, or whatever. Just a thought. We could easily funnel discussions back here.

Great fuckin idea. I'm sick off getting hit on random with some stupid gimmicks just cause I'm not used to it, basically it can massively improve our reactions cause I believe in this game there is almost always a counter to what your opponent does either via string or backdash or whatever, the thing is to know when and increase the depth of our reads.

I don’t know if I like the idea, I have always found browsing through a lot of off topic conversation in discord to find something useful very tedious

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I think it's a bad idea, it'll just funnel.any discussion that does happen into discord chat where no one else benefits

I only play Scarecrow, but aside from the specific MU I can also help with anything that I notice in gameplay. Patterns, and habits that may or may not be affecting gameplay, things like that. My PS4 name is C88_TrueGrave. M-Th 1pm-3pm and then 1am-3am on those same days I'm available. Also off on Fridays and Saturdays too. Sunday is my double at work.

Well I’m always looking for new people to play so feel free to add lucashayden81 on psn, I play Cheetah pretty much exclusively but I am also familiar with Starfire, Harley and Canary. I’m in the UK, free to play most days.

Also one of the few people who still runs sets on inj1 EU servers when I can get some games arranged. I specialise in Zatanna, Hawkgirl, WoWo and Killer Frost but can play pretty much anyone with boobs so if any European players want to reminisce give me a shout
