My Personal Opinion of Killer Frost w/ MU Chart

Its been a long year with this character. She was once deemed the best in the game at the very beginning, then took a couple huge nerfs (which barely made her top 10 if that), then got indirectly buffed in 1.06 (which made her top 5 in a lot of peoples eyes), and she is now in the top 10 discussion by 90% of the community. Before I give my take on her current position, I would first like to give my personal MU chart. I've been seriously thinking hard about every MU in the game and I think a lot of you will agree with it.


NO DOWNPLAYING NOR UPPLAYING IS HERE! This is truly how I feel.


Strong Advantage (7-3): Doomsday

Advantage (6-4): Aquaman, Ares, Joker, Lex, Lobo, Nightwing, Scorpion, Shazam, Sinestro

Slight Advantage (5.5-4.5): Batgirl, Catwoman, Green Arrow, Raven, Zatanna

Even (5-5): Bane, Black Adam, Batman, Deathstroke, Flash, Green Lantern, Harley Quinn, Grundy, Superman, Zod

Slight Disadvantage (4.5-5.5): Wonder Woman, HawkGirl

Disadvantage (4-6): Martian Manhunter, Cyborg.





Well, there you go. I had to be true to myself. I'm no longer that naive player whore swore up and down she was top 5 with one bad MU. Although she is a very good character, she clearly has weaknesses and a lot of the cast can exploit. But overall, I do believe she is a top 10 character that can hang with everyone in the cast.





















And she needs trait cancels, the FTD hitbox on spike, and iaDaggers

On paper, WW destroys her but its totally different in actual gameplay. KF can hang with her just fine and parry works well in the MU, but WW overall has the better tools and can keep better control of the pace better than KF

This is her toughest MU IMO. If you dont have the mental stability or the patience, you will get bodied. This match literally drags on and on and on, with nothing but KF taking chip after chip. Sliding is risky because of ground fireballs and missiles, jumping is risky because of air nova blasts and dashing is risky with the same reasons as sliding. She literally walks her way in, and when she finally does get in, cyborg just flies away with grapple and she has to chase him all over again. Of course she can bait it and punish, but that's not helping her win the MU. However, once she does manage to get in and he hasn't had the chance to use grapple, she completely wrecks him. Her offense is superior to his and her defense cripples his offense.

I agree... Cyborg is a difficult matchup.

from my exp vs killer frost i think superman has the slight adv. you just have to play more of a mobile air keep away game and cheese her with interactables. she gets outzoned in this mu imo ones you establish that and make her come to you, this is where superman evasiveness vs slide shines. 3 anti air also destroys her jumps in and takes care of air dash as well just need to delay the 3 so it auto corrects

Yeah I've played the match a couple of times and watched people play sets of it and it just seems even to me, but of course WoWo has the slight advantage

I keep bouncing back and forth between 5.5, even and 4.5 for Frost/Catwoman. On the one hand, Selina controls the air better but Frost has those damned resets There's also this little glitch (?) where Catwoman can Low Whip and cause Frost's daggers to go right through her face...

So I guess that makes it 5-5 huh?

That's who I did best with against online Killer Frost when I kouldn't punish stuff like Iceberg with my mains.

B1 beating out slide at certain timings and spacings is pretty good and the low 6 frame D1 stops her from just doing Parry.

Seriously, she loses bad. Probably 6.5-3.5. Also low enough iafb do hit her out of slide start up.

LBSH, if it weren' for Ares' D1 being a low, it's truly be a 6-4 in favor of Frost.

I agree with this Matchup chart. The Wonder woman match is difficult but winnable. It's just hard to control her air movement. I believe frost beats aquaman but i need to play the matchup more and need some advise on what to do in certain situations. The cyborg matchup is really hard and the experience from online doesn't help my chances but who really plays cyborg
