MW Semiij wins Kombat Cup Season 2, Week 8

At the end of one of the most exciting top 8s in Kombat Cup history, MW Semiij stands victorious as this week's champion.

This is Semiij's 3rd victory of season 2 and has left him in a comfortable standing at the top of the leader board.

Commiserations to @EMPEROR_KNICKS. Pretty much the whole chat (including myself) was rooting for him and his hype Goro. Sadly his path to victory was ended in a thrilling 5 game match with Youngmonster.

EMPEROR KNICKS eliminated Sonic 3-0 with Goro.

I believe Scar was unable to enter this week

The Goro vs Jacqui match was one of my favorites this season. So good.
@Yungmonster12 Jacqui is amazing.
I hope that the new players continue to do well and shake things up.

I have to say though, I don't know if there was something wrong with KP's connection this week, but it made the commentary a little difficult to listen to.

Agreed. It was getting quite annoying, but I dealt with it. The matches were worth it.
