Mortal Kombat is a nominee for yet another award this year and that is the "Interactive Achievment Awards" ran by the "Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences". This is apparently an awards show that is held every year and with Mortal Kombat this year are also the expected fighters as shown below. These games are up for "Fighting Game of the Year".
