MKX Officially Announced for Evo 2016

Having the games in a separate venue from the hotel blows, in my opinion. Particularly the Sunday finals, which are farther from the hotel than the Fri/Sat venue, which is at least walkable.

Shitty move, imo. Dumber than having it offstrip in 2014. No surprise it was back at the Paris last year after that mess.

I was really looking forward to drunkenly winning shitloads of money at Casino War and eating $100 steaks for every meal again at Ramsey's steakhouse at the Paris. @DanCock

Lineup is pretty solid minus Sm4sh and Pokken, but the venue situation is seriously stupid.

If the number of competitors are anything similar to last year it makes sense to seperate the venue from the hotel. I am not a fan but I understand the decision

On the Ultrachentv tuesday show they said the reasoning was that those two scenes are completely different and theres not much crossover.

Not to mention that Sunday is assigned seating. Rather than gathering up close as a community, or alongside chums, one will now be rubbing elbows next to PokkenSmashers who more likely than not, won't give two sharts about MK.

To add insult to injury, all MGM properties now charging for parking to boot. Yipee

This definitely feels like the most "corporate" year all of a sudden.

Including Tekken 7 again when the game is likely not even going to be out in the USA is a waste of a slot - and I'm a Tekken player. And pokemon?... come the hell on. I cant wait to see the entrance numbers for that one.

Wut? Both Smash games had a ton of entrants last year. You think they don't want that money? Also, only one of them will be on the main stage Sunday.
