Question MKX mentor?!

So I am pretty new to MKXL. I've been playing only a few months. I was wandering if anyone who knows their stuff. Would consider being some kind of tutor/ mentor or whatever you like to call it?! I'm eager to get good at the game and willing to learn as much as possible. Pls let me know if you would be interested. I'd be very appreciated. Than you!

Step one: pick Ninjutsu Scorpion... For more advanced players pick Helfire instead:oops:
Step two: start the matchup with d4... Free one bar of meter. this works 90% online
Step three: f2 at max distance is an unpunishable overhead for the mayority of the cast..
Step four: Scorpion's standing 3 is one of the best anti air in the game...Learn the timing and... abuse it:DOGE
Standing 3 combo ninjutsu variation
s3--teleport--njp--b2--s3--spear--jip--2+3.... into plus frames...
s3--teleport--s4--xray-- 48% xray combo anti air combo:oops:
Step five: Mix that with b3+f2+2 for Your first 50/50 sequence..:DOGE

Step six: The mixups:
f2 with teleport away...
cancel f2+db3--forward+Forward... to get free pressure..
f2+db4... Its a low ( not recomended... because pros now how to fuzzyguard.) And its less safe than f2.:(
recomended combos
f2--b2--b2--njp--ji3--db3--s3--jip--2+3-- this is a standing reset combo...
If they are blocking do run + throw instead:DOGE
If they read the throw do run + ex teleport
If none of that works do run 2+1+4 which is plus on block and can only be stopped by armor... Backdash leaves them in neutral and it has to be done in a hard read.:DOGE
Which opens them into 2+1-- Throw:oops:..
End of the beginners guide...

For the advanced guide... go to the scorpion forum... Ninjutsu variation guide... Because mine has a trollish nature:rolleyes:.

Legend:
njp--neutral jump punch
njk-- neutral jump in kick
f2-- forward 2
b2-- back 2
db3-- teleport.. It has two cancels down down and forward forward.

It hope it helps a little

Pick shinnok and d4 hell sparks to victory. Doesnt matter if they read it cause most characters cant punish it and usually risk going negative if they try. If you want to keep them close just end in amulet cause its safe and d4 hell sparks cause its online and no one is gonna get it frame perfect.

Ok thanks very much for the feedback. Very kind :) I've been playing with mainly Raiden Thunder God variation, Tarkatan Alien or Kuatan warrior with Goro. Any specialists on those characters?. I think really I'd need to play with someone, so they could tell me what I'm doing wrong

Guys -- someone came in to legitimately ask for helpers here. If you're not interested in helping him out, then pass the thread by. But please keep the thread helpful -- treat it in the way you'd want to be treated if it was you making the post to learn something.
Ok understood.

The Fantasy is the Reality of the Mind
1) Learn the fundamentals (footsies, jabs, offense, defense, etc till frame data definitions).
2) Pick any char that you think is your favourite or you can adapt in the first try, and learn the combo strings. If you think that he's so hard for you, try another char.
3) When you finally find your char, take your time to learn off by heart the combo strings. Useful to help you recognize the moves.
4) Go in Youtube and find the combos. Same goes for the matches of this very char against the other chars, so you may have an idea of how to improve your gameplay compared to theirs, and at the same time you may learn his gameplay and strategies. Every char has weaknesses and advantages.
5) When you feel that you are almost ready and want to test your gameplay skills, just hit anyone up to play you at your region. If you're EU and got a PS4, hmu.

Some of us started alone, like me, and some with buddies, like the rest. I started alone, but adapted quite fast. Once you learn those steps, you'll be on your own out there.

Good Luck. :)
