Mileena vs Mileena is a fast-paced, fun, and crazy match simply because she is the most overpowered fighter in the game.
Personally I feel this is the best mirror in MK2 because of it's insanity.
Test out these tips in your everyday gameplay, and watch your skills in Mileena mirrors improve:
DO's:
- Make use of her air sai, and be clever with it, mix them up.
- Mileena can win any match in this game from afar or from in close. Her CQC is incredible. Get in close, and mix in punches, sweeps and throw a roll in while you're at it. If CQC isn't working for you, pin your opponent back with a barrage of sai from afar.
- Telekick only if you can anticipate your opponent is about to throw ground sai or jump.
- If you're trapped in a corner, try to sneak out a roll to set up her massive corner roll combos.
- Since many players are charging HP the whole match for the sai, jumping at a crouching Mileena usually seems safe. Trick your opponent into thinking it's safe to jump at you, then uppercut her. Mileena has 1 of the finest anti-air uppercuts in the game.
DON'T's:
- Do not just keep mindlessly sai spamming- your opponent will catch on and roll or telekick you.
-The telekick will usually get you killed in this match. Both Mileenas tend to play cautiously because Mileena is very dangerous. Telekicking rarely pays off in high-level play. Even if you telekick Mileena while she's in the air throwing sai, you'll often times just get hit by her sai anyway instead of scoring the telekick.
-Don't get stupid with the roll. Over-abusing the roll will get YOU abused with some nasty combos. Rolling from across the screen gives your opponent lots of time to block, so don't ever roll from too far away.
-Don't let your guard down around Mileena when you're near a corner. That moment you unblock could be your last.
