Out of Waz/Raptor's videos for warlock,

Starters: B11, F24, 114 (works best as punisher)

Starter xx db1 amp, ff, s4xxdb1f - good for sending them almost full screen to start your zoning
or
Starter xx db1 amp, ff, s4xxbf2 if you can use the character your oponent is using, or if the slight higher damage will kill.

Alright, I've updated the OP with every Warlock combo I could think of that might be remotely useful... and to be honest I might have gone a little overboard.
I might have missed it but do you have the s3 starters?
s3U2xxDB1Amp dash 3xxDB1F (1 bar 32%) Soulsteal buff gets 39% vs shang.

My easy Corner Combo I didn't see listed.
F242, D1, D1, D1, D1, D1, 114xxBF4 28%(meterless)

You can link df3/EX from s3,u2, b3, and f2,4 for decent damage. With b3 especially it's so quick that it'll catch some people hesitating even though it's not remotely real. s3,u2xxdf3EX nets a little over 20% unbreakable damage, which is a pretty nice chunk if you need a guaranteed punish to close a game out.

With s3,2 midscreen it seems like it has to be the standard range though, with f2,4 and b3 it needs to be the close corpse drop.
 
For 5% more damage, replace S4 for jump kick (309 to 314 dmg):

F24, DB1amp, jump kick, DB1F
Same thing with B11 and B3U4 starter, I couldnt make it work with 114.

I personally find the other combos easier, but that's the reason I have multiple versions for each situation after all. I added it to the OP.

F242, 6x1, 114bf4 (280dmg, 273dmg with bf2 ender)
 
Using a custom build with Ground Eruption and Explosive Corpses:

3u2xxdf3AMP, dash, 3xxdb1AMP, dash, db1f (453.87)

the same combo with the move names:
3u2, corpse drop amp, dash, 3, ground eruption amp, dash, far ground eruption (453.87)

You can replace the first ground eruption with Fatal Blow:
3u2xxdf3AMP, dash, 3xxFB (541.72)

It's probably possible to get more off of these.

Also you can use F24 as a starter, just use close corpse drop (df3b).

I'm sure someone will start showing Shang tech after patch. I'm using several characters so it will be hard for me to take the mantle.


I'm actually pretty excited for his 3rd Variation.
I know some are concerned that his Corpse Drop and Soulsteal won't be in V3 but I think he will be very effective.
He is gonna have all 4 ninja moves and most will be changed.
  • Reptile slide works in combo to KB.
  • Shake is probably one if the best counter zoning tools in the game and probably the best parry working on both projectiles and buttons if amped. This means he can stop pressure and trigger his Shake KB at will.
  • Ermac lift will give him easy combos.
  • Rain Super Kick will give him great damage and possibly of an extra KB or side switch.
I'm sure there will be ways to use his ninja moves in combos or setplay and even though he loses some of his best zoning tools he gains Shake to counterzone and stop pressure.
