MK11 free-to-play weekend coming October 11th (PS4/XBO) along with game and DLC sales

Mortal Kombat 11 will be getting a free weekend period on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One soon. The trial will start October 11th and will end on the 14th. During the trial you will have the following features available:

• First two chapters of Story Mode.
• Local and Online 1v1 with base roster (Frost may be an exception)
• The Krypt.
• Fatality Training.
• Towers of Time.
• Possibility of trying Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and The Terminator DLC characters within Towers of Time.

Furthermore, the MK11 standard edition, premium edition, and Kombat Pack DLC should ALL be 40% off at the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo Store on the following dates (may not be available in all regions):

• PlayStation Store: October 8 - 15
• Microsoft Store: October 11 - 20
• Nintendo Store: October 15 - 21
• NOTE: NRS says the PSN sale will last until November 1st, but the store says it's until October 15th.

So if you still haven't picked up MK11, now is the time to try the game and maybe even buy it at a discounted price. Or maybe you just haven't picked up the Kombat Pack yet? You might want to buy it now since it's available for such a great price -- around $24 USD.
